This is a press release from BROWARD COUNTY SCHOOLS:
“If the online votes cast by 27,300 Broward students had determined the outcome of Tuesday’s election, the results would have been quite different.
The students had an opportunity to cast votes from school or home via on an online system created by the School District. The online voting program is part of a partnership between the District and the Kids Voting Broward, Inc., an organization working to secure the future of democracy by preparing young people to be educated voters.
Here is a sampling of the vote results:

Charlie Crist (NPA) 29%

Marco Rubio (R) 14%
Alex Sink (D) 38%
Rick Scott (R) 28%

Ummm. What happened to civics lessons? What happened to teaching the electoral process? It looks likes KIDS VOTING BROWARD is “educating” kids how to vote on certain issues. Isn’t that the job of parents? Shouldn’t mom and dad talk about renewable energy and hands on teaching and online textbooks? Doesn’t sound like someone is pushing an agenda?
